    Our compound gate needs fixing, but half the tenants refuse to contribute. How do you handle this?

    In my compound, the landlord deducts small amounts from rent for such repairs. No arguments.

    Ours set up a WhatsApp group. Public shaming works – nobody wants to look stingy.

    We do contribution receipts. Once money is documented, trust builds.
